Sims 1 Cheats
The most useful Sims 1 cheats that I know of are the good old 'extra cash' cheats and the 'move objects' cheats:
To get the cheats console onscreen, press CTRL+SHIFT+C. Then you can type in your cheats. Type them exactly as they appear here.
move_objects on
A very useful cheat, this. It allows you not only to move absolutely anything, but you can delete trash, floods and troublesome guests (however, you cannot delete fires) - even your Sims themselves if they get too miserable. Be warned: if you do delete your Sims, they may lose their jobs, and any skill points they may have built up for creativity, body, logic etc. unless they have managed to build up at least three skill points.
The move_objects on cheat is also useful for allowing your Sims to access the edges of the lot. You can use the cheat to place hedges and fences at the very edges of your lot.
To turn off the cheat, type move_objects off in the cheats console.
rosebud
This one gives you 1,000 extra simoleans. Some Sims users have argued that another password, klapaucius, will do the same thing, but this only seems to work on the first version of The Sims without expansion packs.

I've only typed this in 5 times here because you can copy and paste it to your heart's content. Keep it going and you can get past §999,999 simoleans (as a result I have several millionaires in my neighbourhoods). I think it goes up to §9,999,999 but I haven't tried it yet.
You can also type rosebud ; ; and hold down the Enter key, which may be quicker and less fiddly than other money cheats.
