Frequently Asked Questions
1. Have you stolen someone else's site name?
Nope, but there are other sites out there called SimThings. If possible, I'd quite like to link to them. I haven't taken anything from their sites, nor do I intend to steal anyone else's intellectual property. Making downloads for The Sims is fun but takes time and effort and I'm not about to take the credit for anyone else's work.
If you run a SimThings site as well, get in touch. :o)
2. Will you add me as an affiliate?
Depends. E-mail a link to your site or drop me a message at the forum. I'll take a look and if I like what I see, then we can add each other.
3. Something isn't working on your site / forum.
E-mail me and I'll see what I can do.
4. I asked you a question / left you a message and you haven't answered it.
Simming is a pastime for me rather than a day job. Sigh. I work during the day and sometimes do very long hours. I'll be in touch when I can.
5. I find parts of your site difficult to access.
I'm still learning about web design and I have to teach myself, but I'm all about accessibility. Get in touch and tell me the problem. If I can make the site more accessible to all my users, I will.
6. Do your downloads only work for Windows?
Nope. Mac users can use my stuff as well.
7. Can you build X/Y/Z for me?
Depends on time. Drop me a message on my forum and I may be able to have a go. There are some very gifted Simmers on my forum who may do a better job than me. We like a challenge, though. :o)
8. I got banned from your forum.
Bad luck. Stick to the rules. Some bans are only temporary but persistent rule-breaking results in permanent bans.
9. Do you make adult Sims downloads?
Nope, you'll have to find those elsewhere.
10. Did you run a site about The Sims before?
Yep, I have three other sites which are due to be deleted shortly. I can't bear banner adverts and pop ups.
